Automatic Clothes Hanger

Hello everyone how is your 28th Ramadhan? I am not fasting today. 

SO for micropy, which stands for Applied Electronic and Microprocessor, we had to do an Arduino based project. The theme was green building. Some class had to do about SME, agriculture and the list goes on. But for my class, we had to do about green building. We had to have 2 inputs and 2 outputs for our project. Before we jump into the presentation part, let me throw us back to a few weeks ago on how I formed my group.

As per usual, at this point of the semester, you should know that Hanis is always, my go-to friend. We just clicked so that's why we are best friends. Although we fought sometimes, we still like each other. Nothing personal. So we had to form a group of 4 or 5 people per group. There was only Hanis and I. So who is the other 2 or 3? We don't know. So it will be anyone from the class. We had to give our names to the lecturer so by hook or by crook we had to form the group right there right now. We looked around and saw this couple from my class. I knew them since semester 3. They were in the same class as me for French, but they changed after the first class. 

Ok a bit history about them. They are clingy as heck. Di mana ada sang jejaka, disitu ada sang wanita. They literally don't have any gang, I presumed. Because they had each other so they felt that that is okay. They were just like Hanis and I but one of us should be the guy hahahaha.

So we asked them if they wanted to join us. And they agreed so that's the history. It was my first time working with them, yey.

We had to do the presentation in week 13. But it was already in week 11 but we still do not know what to do. So we had a meeting. And we had two ideas, the first one is to have a smoke detector and fire detector and the output is light and buzzer. And the second, ehem, and it is my idea, which was to make an automatic clothes hanger, so we will be having light detector sensor and rain sensor and the output is servo motor and light sensor.

As you can read from the title, my idea was choosen; :DDDD we put this off for too long, we were given time since week 5 but we ended up starting this project in week 12, yep. 

My friends' team has started theirs since week 10 so it just makes me nervous since we did not start anything!! Ok just to put the things on the table, we had to do the design and the coding! ok people, it would be totally easy if we know how to do the coding but no we did not, our lecturer did not teach us! He made us learn the coding ourselves. Told my other friends about what we plan to do, and she told me that my group idea was kind of same as a video she found on the youtube. ok people: if you have a group project, do not hesitate to share your idea with your friends as they might actually help your group! depending jugak siapa yang kau nak share tu.

The video was about the same as what we plan to do, but ours are much simpler. So we took the video as guidance. We worked our project on friday week 12, 3 days before week 13. For the coding part, mannn, it was kind of hard to learn, I mean it wasn't that hard but it is hard since you didn't properly learn. Our system did not run as expected buttttt, my group mate's housemate is from electrical engineering so he helped us out with the coding. On Saturday night we finished the simulation part. It was smooth Alhamdulillah.

The presentation was on Tuesday, we practically finished our project daysss before the presentation which is really nice! tak gelabah u ols. 

Our lecturer did like our idea! So I just pray that he will give us full marks (which probably not but why not).

ok the first condition is when there is no sunlight (at night), the clothes hanger will be under the roof. The second condition is when there is sunlight, the clothes hanger will be outside the roof. The third condition is when there is sunlight, but it is rain, so the clothes hanger will be under the roof and the light will be turned on. 

All in all, I enjoyed working with my teammates. As I am writing this, I am doing the report for this project, just so you know.
